How to Import Passwords into LastPass

Keeping your passwords safe and secure is very important to protect your data. Using an online password manager like LastPass makes it easy to manage your passwords. Here’s how to import your passwords into LastPass quickly and easily.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome.

Step 2: Find your profile passwords. At the top right of your screen, click Profile and then click Passwords (it looks like a key).

Step 3: Exporting passwords. To the right of Saved Passwords, click the three dots and choose Export Passwords. You will be asked to give your windows password and then choose where you want the file to be saved.

Step 4: Import your passwords. Go back to your Chrome tab and click on the LastPass browser extension. In the lower left corner, click on More Options. Click on Advanced and them Import. You will be asked to import the ChromePasswords.csv file that you created earlier. Choose LastPass as the source, select your Chome Passwords file and then click Upload. Click on Import All and you are done!
